With over a dozen players on the Green Bay Packers roster having entered free agency after the NFC Championship, some change was inevitable.
Even so, the first week of the NFL's free agency period has seen the Packers part ways with mainstays like Micah Hyde, TJ Lang, Julius Peppers and, the latest to leave, running back Eddie Lacy. Just Ty Montgomery remains on the roster as a running back, after the Seattle Seahawks gave Lacy a one-year, $5.55 million deal.
Ted Thompson has brought in two capable tight ends in Martellus Bennett and Lance Kendricks, but holes on the roster remain.
