This past week, week five, was the first week of real NFL football, but unfortunately the rest of the season will be played out without stars like Odell Beckham Jr. and J.J. Watt.
The September injury bug has done what it almost always does - disfigured teams, dashed hopes and doomed coaching staffs. There is a reason why they call the NFL a war of attrition.
