High pressure is edging in and helping to push our stubborn cloud deck away this evening. There is a slim chance for a few stray showers and a lone thunderstorm after sunset but most of that activity should sink south of the state line tonight. High pressure will help relax the wind and temperatures drop into the low 60s along the lakeshore and 50s inland.
The weekend is looking lovely with mostly sunny skies and low humidity on Saturday with a high of 80 degrees in Milwaukee. Sunday will be more humid and a bit warmer with dew points climbing into the upper 60s, perfect for a dip in a lake or a pool as summer clings on!
Clouds will be increasing on Monday along with the humidity, it will be warm and sticky with a chance for some showers and storms, not looking ideal for viewing the solar eclipse here in southeastern Wisconsin. More clouds roll in on Tuesday and shower and storm chances increase as a cold front swings through to help bring the humidity back down for the rest of the week. Temps will be in the 70s again Tuesday through next weekend.
